Positivity Practice

Positivity Practice is a ‘hop-on, hop-off’ style programme starting at 7pm on the second Monday of each month and again on at 10am on the subsequent Tuesday.
At only £15 per session, Positivity Practice is the perfect workshop to bring more positivity in to your life!

October 2017 – Harnessing the power of three – Featuring Guest Speaker Valerie Letley

BALANCE, BREATHING & BEING

“Stop the world I want to get off!” Sometimes the pace of life seems a little too fast and the pressures of modern day living can weigh upon us. They can alter our ability to be productive, affect our eating and sleeping patterns and leave us feeling out of kilter both in mind and body
By harnessing the power of balance, breathing and ‘being’ we can look to slow the pace of life, maintain our equilibrium and even create time to smell the roses.

Course Content
An interactive session with the focus on creating balance in all areas of life with the creation of a chart that is personal to each individual. A discussion on how conscious and unconscious breathing affects our internal and external states and how controlling our breathing improves wellbeing. Through breathing experiments we discover how ‘being’ is not as easy as we think, with the conscious and unconscious mind vying for dominance!

Course Objective
Establish areas of focus in order to create a more balanced life.
• To learn how to create a state of calm and make it a transferable asset.
• To establish how to become more ‘present’ in our lives, creating time to smell the roses.
• To experience the positive benefits of the three b’s.

Course Overview
This is a fun, interactive workshop with thought-provoking insights and some tools to take away to assist you on your positivity journey.
Before training as a life coach Valerie worked in television production on some iconic sit-coms and dramas. Her experience of juggling a high-pressure job, raising two children and being self-employed has given her an understanding of the many challenges facing people today.

November 2017 – How to eat for amazing energy – Featuring Guest Speaker Rebecca Hurst

The Glorious Rebecca Hurst is going to be our Positivity Practice guest speaker!

Rebecca Hirst is the founder of Glorious Wellness and is on a mission to help busy women get out of the cycle of feeling flat and to help them feel gloriously well instead. She’s a passionate believer that when we feel glorious, we accomplish amazing things.

Rebecca will be joining us in November for Positivity Practice to share with us her glorious guidelines on how to:
• Eat to nourish YOUR amazing body – she’ll cut through the conflicting dietary advice and explain how to work out what’s best for YOU
• Glow with good health so that people ask ‘have you been on holiday?’
• Feel lighter, brighter and a whole lot more energised.

December 2017 – STOP the clock

Do you feel like you are constantly watching the clock? Worrying about that looming deadline which seems to be creeping up quicker and quicker. When you have so much on your plate, how can you manage the time you have in the most efficient way to ensure you meet your deadlines…..and beat that clock.

Workshop Overview
‘STOP the clock’ is all about learning how to make the most of the time you have, meaning less procrastination and more productivity, less time wasting and more utilisation. By applying simple time management techniques in to your day to day workload, you will find you DO have enough time!

Workshop Objectives
• Look at task prioritisation, what is important? What can wait?
• How to handle time wasters, politely but effectively
• Overcoming procrastination
• Delegating the work load
