June – De-Clutter Your Life – with guest speaker Ingrid Pope

Sitting in the lounge, lying in bed, standing in the bathroom… stop and look around you. Look at the things that surround you. Perhaps open a cupboard door and peer inside. What do you see? Do you only see things that bring you joy and make you smile? Or can you almost feel all their weight on your shoulders?
In our ever-changing and fast-paced world, we are challenged to keep up with more and more information, events, friends, facebook and twitter posts, health guidelines etc… How do you take the time to breathe, to reset the mind, to gain the clarity needed to focus on the big and important projects with all the little stuff cluttering up your consciousness.
Workshop Overview
In this highly interactive workshop we will look at the different types of clutter (physical, mental and emotional) and how our daily lives are affected by it. We will discover how clutter affects each of us differently, and that the aim is not necessarily a minimalist haven!
Workshop Objectives
-Start noticing what we surround ourselves with
-Discover what impact clutter has on us
-Learn some techniques to start reducing the clutter
-Find the motivation to get started!

April 2018 – To Be Confirmed

May 2018 – Sensory Acuity – AKA Mind Reading

I’m sure you can relate to times when you feel you instinctively know what some close to you is thinking or feeling don’t you? I am sure there have also been times when you have got the wrong end of the stick because you have not truly understood what someone means. Wouldn’t it be amazing if you could be more intuitively connected to the people you come into contact with? With an ability to connect so much so that it may feel like you can mind read?
Workshop Overview
This workshop is an experiential exploration of sensory acuity and rapport skills. This is NOT exactly mind reading but it may feel a little like that. In this interactive workshop you will have the opportunity to explore what sensory acuity and rapport is and isn’t and the positive impact this can have on you and your relationships with others.
This is a fun and light hearted workshop. You will be working in pairs and small groups and will be completing a selection of simple different activities. This will involve working quite closely with others observing them and being observed. You may be surprised by how quickly you tune into the others in the group.
Workshop Objectives
-Discover what rapport is and isn’t
-Practice your sensory acuity skills
-Learn to understand and connect with people at a deeper level
-Feel as though maybe you can read minds (Its not mind reading but may feel like it)
